Biden-Palin debate: post-debate GOP excuses

  1. Palin was intimidated by Biden
  2. Palin was a victim of sexism
  3. The moderator was biased–Karl Rove will announce “he’s never seen such partisan questions in his entire political life!”
  4. Biden threw her off balance with his knowledge of the world
  5. There was a rock in her shoe
  6. She stayed up late last night cramming
  7. The questions came too fast and furious
  8. They hadn’t covered that subject in the debate prep–“how could anyone be expected to know that?”
  9. She’s only going to be Vice President so the questions are largely irrelevant
  10. The liberal media prepared the questions and we all know how out of touch they are
  11. She’s had a heavy campaign schedule
  12. Her kid was ill last evening so she didn’t get proper rest
  13. John McCain was ill last night and she stayed up late reassuring him of her qualifications
  14. etc., etc., etc.

Get ready folks.  Get ready.

I hope some of you don’t turn this into a post-debate drinking game–a lot of alcohol may be consumed.   Please don’t drink and drive.

Why not question that the moderator, Gwen Ifill, of the upcoming Biden-Palin debate is pro-Obama. She wrote a book that praises Obama, obviously she will try her best to make Palin look bad in the debate Why couldn’t the moderator be more fair and bi-partisan?

Why not make fun of Joe Biden, who thinks FDR was President in 1929, and thinks paying more taxes is patriotic?

Hello, Equality…Gwen Ifil was deemed a professional capable of handling her assignment yesterday by John McCain himself. Now today, after McCain’s handlers got hold of him, he’s flip-flopped on that issue. Why can’t the Republicans just shut up and go to the debate without having to act like 2-year olds? Stir the pot; stir the pot. The reason the GOP is going down in flames in this election is all they seem to be able to do is knock others, e.g, the media, Obama, Biden, etc. Of course, with the record they have to run on, that may be the only thing they can do. Gwen Ifil is not Sarah Palin’s biggest problem going into the debate tonight. Sarah Palin is her own biggest problem. Joe Biden is so imminently qualified to be VP that Sarah Palin pales in comparison. Yes, he makes an occassional gaffe. Sarah Palin is a gaffe. The American people see through this charade. One hopes they are forced to use them all. They are such whiners this season. I’m sure it will not be the rout I so wish it to be, much depends on Ifill and how she presses the point or doesn’t. We shall see.
